Suitable for ages 9-12 years.
Run by professional comedians, Hilarity Academy are here to share their love for comedy and laughter. They’ve worked with young people in a range of educational and arts environments and are bringing their passion and knowledge of comedy to our theatre. The incredible Rosalie Minnitt will be running this session - an award-winning comedian and writer best known for her breakout character comedy show Clementine. Since its debut at the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe, Clementine has become a cult hit, selling out multiple runs at the Fringe and London's Soho Theatre, and embarking on a UK tour in 2025. Outside of Clementine, Minnitt has written for CBBC, BBC Radio and is currently working on a pilot for Radio 4. For this workshop there will be a variety of options to get involved with and focus on different aspects of comedy performance including sketch, stand-up, clowning and improvisation. Kids deserve to have FUN and we are here to provide just that!
